Assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moïse
We are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the assassination of Jovenel Moïse, President of the Republic of Haiti, and the strife and violence in the nation.
At this time of national tragedy, we pray that God will comfort those who have been deeply hurt at these senseless events and bring about peace and hope to Haitians everywhere. The Administration of the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists prays for all affected at this time of national stress, especially our Haitian members and friends.
We ask that you join us in prayer for the Moïse family, the recovery of First Lady Martine Moïse who was injured in the attack, and the people of Haiti as they face tragedy and uncertainty in these tumultuous times. Above all, we pray for the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, who will make all things right.
