***Event Description***
TLT’s and Mentors come join us for a fun outdoor event.  You will have the opportunity to practice basic backpacking, survival, and other outdoor skills within the Patrol/Unit context through challenges, games, and competitions.
Friday night we will all gather at a group campsite and you will begin getting yourselves organized within your patrol.
Sabbath morning will find us striking camp, gathering group supplies, and offering pack shakedowns before we spend the rest of the day progressing through the various activities.
Sabbath evening will find us at our second campground of the weekend where each patrol will have it’s own campsite.
Sunday morning we will strike camps and continue with our challenges enroute to the final rally point.
Food, cooking equipment, shelter, fire starting and navigation are all part of the challenge and the associated equipment will loaned to each patrol for the duration of the event.  It is expected that the equipment will be returned clean and serviceable.

Location: Withlacoochee River Park
Come to the youth/group campsites Friday afternoon/evening. The youth/group campsites have a separate entrance with gate.  The entrance is just south of the main entrance.  A GPS address and gate code will be available by or before the event. Registered mentors watch for a group chat with that information.
