Message from Pathfinders and Adventurers
Dear Pathfinder and Adventurer Nation,
We are living in a time where change is the new normal. Churches are closed. Hugs are virtual. Grocery stores are not stocked with all the things we are used to. Schools are closed. Events are cancelled. Curfews and lockdowns are in place in many counties. So much of what we were used to a month ago, is now very different.
And yet, many things have remained the same. Our commitment to serve and support Club ministries remains the same. Our love for Pathfinder and Adventurer Clubs and families is unchanged. During this crisis, please feel free to reach out to us – our team of volunteers (Coordinators/Administrators) and Office staff. We are excited to read and hear about how many of you are creating and discovering new ways to do Club ministry. One person said, “Necessity is the mother of all inventions.”
Thank you for all you have done and will do during these times to connect with the kids and families you have been called and chosen to serve from your Club. I believe that you are more needed now than ever. To be a voice of hope. To share a message of encouragement. To practice a ministry of presence (even in social distancing times).
Together, we can and will get through this. And God is still on our side and with us. We are loved … with an everlasting love (Jer. 31:3).
Let’s ask God to help us get through this time in such a way that when look back, we will be proud of what we have done, and that we will clearly see God’s hand leading us as only He can. Our God has no rival. Our God has no equal. He alone is the Lord God Almighty. He is for us and He loves
