RYAN S. AMOS ORDAINED

Ryan Scott Amos was born to Kurt and Karen Amos and raised in Somersworth, NH. He was the middle of four kids. Ryan has an older sister Erika Cox, a younger sister Mercedes Weston and a younger Brother Jared Amos. Ryan was raised in a Seventh-day Adventist family and was baptized by Pastor Rick Kuntz in the Portsmouth Seventh-day Adventist church at age 11.
At the age of 17, Ryan felt the call to pastoral ministry. From a young age his mother would say “well he is either going to be a minister or a convict.” When he applied for the theology program her response was simply, “Well, I guess I won that one.” In 2006 Ryan started school at Atlantic Union College in South Lancaster, Massachusetts. It was there at AUC that Ryan met his wonderful wife, Kayleigh.
While attending Atlantic Union College, Ryan pastored the Rochester, New Hampshire Seventh-day Adventist Church and worked for Best Buy. In 2010, Ryan graduated with a dual major in Religion and Theology with minors in Biblical Languages and Psychology. It was on the front lawn of Atlantic Union College gym at his graduation, that Ryan asked Kayleigh to be his wife.
Two short months later Ryan and Kayleigh were married and moved to Lynchburg, Virginia for Ryan to attend Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary where he graduated with a Master of Arts in Religion with an emphasis in Youth and Young Adult Ministries. In December of 2011, Ryan took a call to work as the family life pastor in the Avon Park Seventh-day Adventist Church.
